IF THERE IS NOTHING THERE...

If There is Nothing There... Is being presented at Sonic Arts Network EXPO Festival in Brighton from 4th to 6th July 2008. It will be sited within the LIghthouse. For more details check out the festival website. [http://expofestival.org]

If There is Nothing There … is a real-time audio-visual installation which puts the audience at the centre of the piece both as the creator and viewer.
Sited in Derby’s Market Place and utilising the BBC’s Big Screen passers by can play and interact with this innovative artwork, which uses new technology to create an ever-changing visual and sound experience.
As people walk into the square their image is picked up by a video camera and displayed on the screen in an abstracted form. Different sounds are generated depending on the viewer’s location within in the square creating unique soundscapes.

UNCOMFORTABLE SILENCES

Uncomfortable Silences was presented at Phoenix Leicester as part of the Phoenix Digital program from 3/03/08 for 1 month. The work is sited in the cafe area of the venue. There was a launch event for the Phoenix Digital season on Friday 7th March 2008 from 6p.m. until 8p.m.
